Correct, with about a 20k difference in price point. People will not cross shop an RC-F and GS-F.
The RC-F and IS-F would be identical pricing area.
Furthermore, the GS-F is overweight and underpowered for its segment. It will struggle to sell as well.

Very pretty but outdated and why go backwards in technology and hp when comparing V8?
If the OP wants power for $, I'd look at a used CTS-V long before looking at a used IS-F.
While I love the IS-F and my Camaro lacks refinement (though I find my Camaro to be a very pretty car in itself), I could blow your doors off all day, every time.

I can't get over the V6. Nothing sounds "mean" about a V6 lol They can sound good, my wife's IS350 with an ARK sounds good, but still not scary like a lobbing V8
