Aftermarket Exhaust
I have a IS350 AWD F sport
I am thinking to install after market exhaust to make the car sound better.
Here is the list of what I want to archive:
1. Have a deeper base sound from my exhaust
2. Not too loud. I am okay with the stock exhaust sound volume. I just want to change how it sound. A little bit louder is acceptable.
3. No drone!! (This is most important part)
I have been looking into JoeZ, Invidia Q300 and F sport exhaust.
I planing to install Axle back exhaust only.
If I only install axle back exhaust, will it drone?
Can you guys give me any suggestions or thoughts?
Thanks!!!

There are not too many videos show axle back exhaust only.
Most people installed mid pipe and as well as other mods which can change the result of the sound.
What I am mostly care is the sound inside of the car.
No luck finding good quality video taken inside of the car.

Stillen just announced their axle back exhaust. Sounds pretty good to me.
I've personally been considering Joe Z (before I saw Stillen's announcement). There are quite a few videos floating around in the "Performance" section.

I've had the F sport exhaust for about a year and I love it. The worst drone you might have is cruising with people in the car @ 75 mph, but go faster and it's fine. I found mine used on Ebay for about $800 shipped.

F-Sport would be my suggestion.
It's probably the quietest out there for 3IS.
And yes, it'll have some drone, especially with passengers when you're between 2000-3000 cruising like others mentioned. But driving by yourself or even with 1 extra passenger, it's not that bad.
I had the F-Sport one before, but decided to sell it after about 6 months due to the droning at low RPMs, because I do drive my friends and family around on trips.
Another suggestion is to just change the intake only. It'll give you a true, deeper engine sound when you step on it, but a quiet ride if you're just cruising around.

I'd be interested in a comparison on the STILLEN vs JoeZ vs F-Sport. I'm curious how it compares with overall daily life experience. The original car we developed it on's owner really like his

At least from the audio of your video the F-Sport and the Stillen sound similar in volume. The Stillen might be a little louder?
