Question Performance issues and experienced help

I have a 01 IS300 that I am passing on to my son. I replaced the motor that has about 55K on it now but 218K on the car. Looking for suggestions on coilovers not huge on performance but ability to lower a small amount and a good ride. Runs like poop (sensor stupid I think) can I use after market o2 sensors? I need the rear hub bearings replaced and I was thinking of just doing the bearings in lieu of the hub assy? The last issue I need to address is the M on my trans blinks and will not go into the mode but the trans shifts fine from a mech aspect. I would appericate any help or suggestions form the group and I will in exchange help all I can with any body questions you may have.
