Afe/takeda intake direct plug and play?
Do the intakes come with all the required hardware for a direct swap or do any clamps/hoses need to be bought at the auto parts store before installing?

The factory rubber hose (with the clamp) that connects the intake is garbage (in regards to a takeda/greddy) will probably not work well. I had to go to the autozone to pick up a longer tube and tighter clamps from home depot. However, if you have a 2014 model, the stock tubing is ever so different that it works with the aftermarket intake.

Seeing a lot of mixed reviews on the forum and on Amazon, a lot of people kept saying they had to go to the auto parts store to buy a longer hose and some new clamps? Still trying to figure out how direct plug and play this is or if a longer hose is needed before install.......A lot of the reviews on amazon talk about a longer hose being needed and someone who posted on this thread even said they needed some additional installation parts.......

Yea I'm not sure what the issue was for people have too short of a hose. I think someone on here got a new clamp cause he felt the existing clamp wasn't doing the job.
I got my aFe Magnum Force ordered and installed less than a month ago and I did not need any additional parts. Everything I needed came in the box.

With the Afe kits you get everything you need and the install is strait forward, there should be no issues for anyone installing the kit. We have never had an issue with their products we have installed in the past, Afe/Takeda is a really great choice when it comes to intakes.

Just installed the intake. I had one of the rubber strips left over couldn't figure out where it went. I know the bigger rubber strip goes along the top of the heat shield but I couldnt figure out where the smaller one went for the life of me.
