Default IS250 AWD Exhaust Help

Hello all,

I'm at a crossroads.

I recently purchased a 2009 Lexus IS250 AWD, and like everybody else, am not happy with the exhaust sounds.

I cannot justify spending $1400 on an F-Sport system, or even $1200 on a Borla.

I believe I've settled on buying exhaust tips or just mufflers, (don't judge me), and am wondering what there is out there for me, (being an axle back).

Also, what are some of you running?

My price range is up to $600. I don't see myself spending more than that.

Thanks in advance for your help!

Default Hks

The HKS Hi-Power exhaust is next on my to-buy list for my IS350. In the video below, the guy has a HKS and removed the resonators. Sounds perfect to me and the cost is reasonable. $650+/-.

hks is quite loud from what I've heard. Have you considered ppe headers? This is what I'll be doing for my awd. It looks a bit costly, but its less than the fsport even after install, and is the only "bolt on" with a relatively significant i impact on power.

Tbh. I live in nor cal and hear louder cars than my exaust. Or maybe it's cause I have gotten used to it. Or can be that I straight piped my car beforehand. Idk. Haha. It's a real nice sounding exaust though. Well if you remove your resonator.

At first, when I got my HKS, I didn't like it. But after a while, it's actually not that bad. Low rumble, nothing too obnoxious. Slight drone depending on the weight in the car. Other than those, I'm really happy with it.
