Sorry to threadjack but I've been mulling about having this installed for a long time and I'm worried it'll be actually too loud Does driving it hard on the highway help break it in and quiet the exhaust a bit? I can't tell from older threads I've read on this exhaust whether people just got used to the noise or putting a couple hundred miles on the car actually made it quieter as some of the fibers get burnt off...

I didn't find it loud. That's one of the reasons I stick with oem. Lexus won't go all out since they still need to meet customer (oldies) standards. Plus it needs to stay legal..less than 90 dBs or something in most cities.

Get a megan mid pipe. It makes it deeper and louder, but not too much louder. Its perfect if youre just looking for an extra grunt!

F sport exhaust on IS350 sounds great. Quiet on freeway up to 80 mph.

OP, there are 3 versions of F-Sport exhaust, and form your pic, the Y-pipe you bought is definitely NOT the Y-Pipe that comes with F-Sport exhaust.

Well you are not correct, I have the newest version bought new from Sewell Lexus and it looks the same as the OP except mine is polished stainless and his does not look like stainless. I will take pictures when I have time.

Sure, learn something new, and to see is to believe, let's see your T pipe instead of most of us who had Y pipe
