Default Will a 2003 Lexus Is300 5 speed tranny fit a 1999 Lexus Gs300?

I'm looking at possibly swapping a 2003 5 speed tranny into my 1999 gs300 if it could be done. What all will you need to do to get it to work? What all do you pull off the 2003 is300 that can be used in the gs300? Clutch pedal? Wiring needed? -thanks

I'd imagine it'd be the same thing as installing a W58 from a SC or Supra ....

From what I understand the W55 (IS) and the W58 are identical, the only difference is the dual mass flywheel and clutch ...

If anyone has done a W58 swap on their GS they'd be able to guide you through the W55

Good luck
