Default Thoughts on custom exhaust

Hey guys, I'm planning on updating my exhaust so it will have more of a performance sound, without the drone. I'm planning on running 2.25" piping, custom x pipe(deleting 3rd cat and resonators), and 2.5" dynomax vt mufflers with both in/out offset, and then a 2.25" muffler tip.

Will this work together nicely? I'm most concerned about the muffler fitting into the equation. I've heard it isn't a big deal, just shove the piping into one end of the muffler, the tip into the other side of the muffler, and then either welding, clamping, or both for both sides.
