The car belongs to me. Sorry about the reply. The trd sc drops in place of the intake manifold. I hd to trim a couple little pieces of metal off the head for clearance. Nothing much u just need an extra 1/2 to 3/4" for it to drop in place. Everything pretty much hook up. The belt was a little bit of a pain to find the right size bcaz the gs4 block deck is shorter than the 4.7. After a few trips i found 1 to fit. I tried using the trd piggyback just to see if it would start but it didnt so i havent wired in the 9th injector yet. Right now im running 4 to 5 lbs of boost.

Very cool indeed. How are you enjoying the TRD SC vs stock and are you running any other supporting mods (header/exhaust/etc.)?

I am a turbo fan but the sc whine has been growing on me🙊. Its pulls strong off the line. I figure i would explore this trd sc bcaz on the tundra it added i think 80hp with 7lbs of boost but the 4.0 came with more hp and torque than the 4.7 plus the gs4 has 10.5 compression so to me it was worth exploring. When i bypassed the boost solenoid i got 12lbs of boost revving it at idle. So my biggest challenges will b gas and timing to get the right af ratios and of course the 9th injector.

The pulley wheel i think is 2.3 it may be as small as they come. I think trd thought about ppl wanting to upgrade the wheel so u would have upgrade the crank pulley. But my motivation behind this was out of curiosity not for big power i might add a turbo in the future to twin charge it and get the best of both worlds😀

I think this fellow did a pretty good job for what he had to work with.. Custom installs have ALOT of unknowns and I think he did very well.. I'll be interested in seeing how much power he's making..
