Major issues with the bolts on the CATs. We had to remove them from the headers because the flanges that attach to the Y pipe were rotten. Those bolts were a nightmare. 4 snapped off and as the studs are hardened steel it took a while drilling them out. That being said, the rest of it went on really, really well. All lined up perfectly, even removing the third CAT for a straight pipe. I have taken lots of pictures for my build thread. I'll add some after Monday once the system is complete.

When are you getting your resonators deleted? That should sound awesome!

No I was referring to the widebody gs400. fricking wicked. I'm wondering why he went with the 2uz intake manifold. for more low end torque perhaps? I wonder if using that on my 02 gs430 would be pointless since I have the variable length runners so I get the best of both worlds. and what the hell is coned, knifed throttle body? does that refer to the edges of the throttle body where the air enters? to smooth the incoming air as much as possible? I'm dying to know what his "ram air intake" looks like.

I've tried to reach out to that guy and ask him about the car but no response there on Youtube.. it does sound wicked and you can hear the throttle is instant when he's raving back for the second time... what is the difference in the 1UZ and 2UZ manifold?

Similar dude. I have two small resonators on my second y pipe. I think this deepens the system a little. Side by side I think our systems will sound the same or there abouts

I'm curious what your would sound like with headers and factory resonators - I love the sound, just thinking I'd prefer slightly quieter.

Yeah the factory resonators were bigger and more likely to quieten down the system. I'm not sure what difference headers will make in regards to sound, but hopefully I'll find out soon
