I installed the FSport intake a couple of weeks ago. I don't like the sound that much. It sounds kinda fake. If I could do it again, I would just get the JoeZ pipe for more HP.

Lol, the JoeZ pipe alone doesn't sound anything. It is the hole in the lower intake box that makes it sound nice. Also, FSport tube and JoeZ tube are very similar and provide similar gain. It just happens that JoeZ tube is a bit cheaper. I don't know what you mean or why you bash it by "fake" sound but the sound I hear from FSport is "REAL" in which I can feel and hear it growling like a tiger lol.

I have FSport intake and JoeZ both!

JoeZ doesn't make any additional sound, so I would rather have that than the Fsport intake sound. I was expecting a deep sound like the engine/exhaust makes on start up (louder on the BMW), but it doesn't sound like that. It has a plastic quality, sounds more like a plastic box rumbling.

I have a similar intake set-up (JoeZ with a large hole on the bottom intake box) and I'm using the stock exhaust so most of the sound that emits from my IS350 are coming from the engine bay.

At the last track day event that I attended, I had multiple people come up to me and compliment how amazing my "V8" sounded on the track. Literally everyone was shocked when I told them that the sound was coming from a V6.

Installed mine last week, I love the sound but it seems a bit slower. Has anyone else experienced this?

I didn't notice much change in speed ... I want to change my view a little on the sound. It sounds better than when I first installed it. It doesn't sound like a plastic box rumbling any more -- not sure if it's the temperature change.

I just installed the F-Sport Air Intake this afternoon and I have to say I've had a grin every time I've taken my car out . It's a night and day difference between the stock air intake setup. Even with the windows closed, you can hear it growl at 3,500-4,000+RPM.

I didn't install it with the intent of any HP or MPG gains so I am highly satisfied with the increased noise.
