Default How good or bad is sound with Invidia mid pipe

I have a tanabe MT axle back and was thinking of adding the invidia midpipe. Youtube videos make the set up sound crazy loud and raspy but videos aren't always reliable. Any opinions or experience with invidia mid pipe paired with another exhaust (possibly tanabe)

Vette let me know when you find out!, if I don't end up removing my f sport exhaust I was just gonna add an invidia midpipe to it and possiblly remove my resonator. But let me know when you find out.

I have the invidia q300 with mid pipe. It's not loud at all. No drone inside. Pretty quiet at low rpms but loud at high rpm. I don't know with your axle back. Videos on YouTube doesn't make any justice.

Why do the youtube videos make it sound so damn raspy and loud? Are they a bad example of his it
Sounds in real life?

I have tanabe axle back and love it but with other cars with tanabe and Invidia it sounds stupid loud and raspy

It is not that loud for me. I have heard some before but I don't know how loud you want it to be. Actually the invidia mid pipe has a high flow resonator that makes it not drone too much inside the cabin. It will be loud outside NOT the inside

Didn't know if the sizing would match up with OEM exhaust.

I wonder if this would add a little sound without having to have a full exhaust / spending the rest of the money, especially if its a lease.

well...not to sound like a smart @$$, but they did make the pipe to fit the vehicle whether it has an aftermarket exhaust or not; the length from the headers/exhaust port pipes and cats to the axel back flanges are consistent with the stock.

it will indeed add to the db level as (i believe and someone please correct me if I'm wrong) the pipes have free flowing resonators. imo, there is no need to get an after market mid pipe unless you get an after market exhaust. but if you want to go that route, that's on you. as far as installing parts on a lease, my car is a lease as well, but i intend to buy it as the lease expires. i also believe (if you're returning your lease) that it may be easier to re-sell an exhaust (axel or cat back) rather than a mid pipe, but then again, there are enthusiasts out there thought just purchased an axel back and will be in the market for the mid pipe.
