You could go borla. I used to have a custom exhuast with borla mufflers. It sounds pretty awesome.

I just want to take out these stock mufflers, and weld in some new ones to get a nice sound. I am looking at flowmaster (40 or 44 series?), magnaflows, borla, etc. It doesn't seem like a common thing to do after searching this forum and Google. Thanks for your help guys, any advice is appreciated.
I hope there is an update on this cause I'm on the same route. I know for sure f sport and JoeZ exhaust sound the best with little drone but they are too costly and hard to find a used one locally. My friend with a lancer had a magnaflow muffler install and it sounded just what I wanted it but too bad he sold the car already. It sound deeper than stock and not too loud but I don't know about the drone on the highway thro. I would think it wound look great with s2000 oval tip btw.

I haven't made a decision yet. Really thinking about just buying the M2 axle-back so I don't have to worry about sizing anything. And if that doesn't get me enough sound, I'll just take it back to the muffler shop and have the resonator delete done.

I've also been thinking about going with the Megan axle-back as seen below. Would most likely do the OE-RS over the drift-spec style.

Right! That's why not many of us does muffler swapped. But def. don't delete the resonator thro. I think deleting the resonator would make the car louder but also give you all the unwanted sound you're trying to avoid. I'm also leaning on just getting a hks exhaust instead cause they are more locally available but than again I just love the way my ap2 tips look lol.

I wasn't satisfied with the way my M2 exhaust sounded with a Reso. So I figured since im on a budget I'll delete the reso first see how I feel about it and save up for my Mid-Pipe. Once the reso is gone im pretty satisfied. It gives the is350 a more aggressive tone. So yeah i prefer a delete reso and if u dont like it then put it back on. Im also thinking of adding in a Glasspack Magnaflow pipe in exhange to the reso section. Spot it the other time at Pep-Boys.

Safe to assume this link is for the axleback only and not the full catback? The picture shows catback, but the price seems to point towards axleback. Can you guys see anything on there that would point one way or the other? I just may have to call.

Edit: NVM, that was a stupid question. I looked at the part numbers and it is just the axleback.

Well I purchased this Tsudo exhaust today. People have said it looks like a knockoff of a Greddy SP Elite I think. Gonna have it installed next week. I'll post a video for how it sounds. I only have my cellphone, so we will see how that audio turns out. It's a pretty beefy looking exhaust, which I think looks awesome. Going to eventually get a midpipe, but I'm just gonna see how this sounds first.
