'14 IS250 - no difference with invidia midpipe?
So I just installed my midpipe today with the stock catback system that came with the car. After the installation, I started it up, revved it a few times but to me, there's no difference in sound which was a huge surprise to me. I plan on taking it into my mechanic's shop tomorrow to have him check it out but should I just let it settle in for a bit first before taking it in or should I just take it to my mechanic?

I'm still waiting for Megan Racing to release their catback system for the '14-'15 IS 250 haha otherwise I would've gotten both XD.

I haven't past the engine break in period yet (~700 miles or so) and highest I've revved to was 4000 RPMs. Hopefully I'll hear something then when I mash on the gas pedal when the times comes haha XD.

I have a is350 so it may be different, but it's a subtle noise increase inside the car, but it makes the exhaust noticeable if you are standing outside, especially during a cold start (but this is in comparison to a stock exhaust sound that is almost non-existent). IIRC, it took a good 1000+ miles before it became louder on mine (or it was a combination of the stock muffler becoming louder as it was broken in). The sound will not be similar to replacing the axle-back though.

i'm looking into replacing the stock mufflers for the time being. The car is still ridiculously quiet but this is coming from me driving with a midpipe and an axle back system following muffler deletes for an entire year. Do any of you know of any examples with either magnaflow, borla, or megan racing n1 mufflers with the invidia midpipe? Thanks!
