Default In Search of No Rasp Exhaust Set-Up

As the title states, I'm trying to piece together a no rasp exhaust system...

I currently have stock resonator deleted, true duals back to my (presumably knock-off) M2 mufflers. Two little in-line torpedo resonators. and an H-Pipe. This setup seems too free flowing. When you rev up it is loud and raspy, and as the rev drops, a flutter (ish) sound comes out the exhaust. I want to try to keep true duals, but i can't seem to find anything that will fit two resonators in the limited space.. If i do go back to one resonator and a Y-Pipe, should I get a magna flow, or just go back to stock resonator... my hopes with the magna flow resonator would be to add a lower tone?

So tomorrow I'm going to OC Muffler and will be having two magnaflow (11225) mufflers put up with some tips. I have a stock resonator delete, true dual conversion, with two small inline resonators put in. Oh and an H pipe. Ill post pics and clips tomorrow! Finally got a GoPro haha.

Just got them put on. Sounds so much better... The drone is virtually gone (obviously there is a little though). I can drive at freeway speeds without shaking everything in th cabin. Nice deep growl with a tiny bit of rasp., muffler guy says that should go away once the exhaust breaks in. I'll post some pics and vids later tonight.

Yeah I just noticed that. It wouldn't process.

Now I'm having an issue with GoPro studio. It won't attach the sound when it converts it to a .mov... i'll try to get it up asap

Ya I hope to see the video clip soon I used to have the same fluttering problem in idle when I had true duals but I added an x pipe on and it stopped. I don't have any resonators or anything straight pipe starting from the down pipes into an x-pipe then straight into the mufflers. Sounds great now IMO. https://www.clublexus.com/forums/per...300-build.html if you want to check it out.

Oh wait I just realized you commented on my thread LOL! But ya the x-pipe with the true dual made the difference in sound for me.

seems like I'm a bit late to the party,

but if anyone's looking for growl (and some legitimate hp), get ppe headers with hi flow cats.
Dyno results from members on CL show ranges of gain in the 25hp range.

Plus it sounds mindlowingly amazing.
I'm not changing my stock exhaust for now, instead I'm saving up for headers and the cats PPE sells.
