Default In search of exhaust setup

So i've been struggling with finding a good exhaust set up. I want something thats nice and loud and has a deep growl, but doesn't have drone or rasp. I am under the impression that i have a knockoff M2 because it is incredibly loud and the drone is unbearable. The muffler it self feels hollow as if there is no packing in it at all. I currently have true duals running from the cats to the mufflers, two tiny torpedo resonators, and the m2 mufflers. The set up is loud but it is far to raspy and has wayyy to much drone (can't hold a conversation without significantly raising your voice).

My question is, has anybody ran the stock exhaust set up, but with only the secondary cats deleted? How was the sound changed and performance if any?

Also, i saw a thread a while back where someone added another pipe to the back of the OE muffler.. does anyone recall that and if they know where it is could you post it.

Twin Synapse Engineering NoDrone exhaust components in front of the catalytic converters.

X-Pipe rear resonator delete, custom stainless exhaust routing.

M7 Japan exhaust.

There is still a bit of drone but it isn't bad, i will tweak it again when i get some PPE headers

j pipe/side branch resonators/helmholtz pipe should be measured and put at the rear of the exhaust for getting rid of drone.

There's no knockoff M2...M2 is already a knockoff.

Is that why exhausts like Motordyne, Ark, etc. has that extra resonator-looking thing sticking out on its own?

motordyne IMO is more well developed over ark in terms of resonator size and placement for improved sound and decrease in drone. ark seems to just slap it on there like competitors. you can actually tune those j pipes to eliminate drone at the certain rpms that your actual car set up is making droning at.

So my drone Freq. is 107.7hz ... I end up needing 30.6" of pipe... since i have a true dual, do i split that between two? making two 15.3" Pipes, or do i need two 30.6" pipes on each side.
