Default Is250 HKS supercharged

Hi,I am from Malaysia,I own a UK spec 2is 250.
Over here we don't have a 350 of IsF, End up I decided order the HKS S/C kit with out the F-con,and will arrived next week. As i know our ECU was almost imposible to modify, and I also don't have a good tuned over here,so I reject the F-Con ECU to save some money and can it be possible to run the 7 psi with the stock ECU safely?

PS: Sorry for my poor english, if i made some miss understanding.

You can run up to ~7.5psi on stock ecu just fine.

I am supercharged as well, with an is250 and have been running 7.5psi for almost 2 years, 20,000 miles just fine. It makes the car super fun to drive. You'll love it.

Like what was said, the factory ECU will be able to run the setup at that mentioned 7lbs. You should be fine as long as everything is buttoned up correctly. Good luck and post pictures along the way!

Daileycon, sure,I will install the supercharger kit on next wed ,after this I may post some photo over here.

Heyarms/ gville, thank for your information ,that is great to know the stock ECU can support the boots .by the way,I am also worry about the heat as over here we have 28'c to 36'c all the year, some more we have poor quality of fuel in Our country , did you guy hear about snow performance water injection?i am thinking to purchase a set and see whether can reduce the intake air temperature.

What do you think about it?

Yes meth injection will make it a little safer to run. I have a stage 2 snow performance meth injection kit on my car. I ran the car for a year without it though, and I live in Texas where the summers stay around 100F. Whether it is mental or not, it feels like a stronger pull when it sprays (it gains around 9hp from others dyno experience).

In your case, with the HOT temps AND the possibility of bad gas, I would recommend meth as a safety. Great idea!

^Exactly what I was going to say! That core will be good enough for 700+whp!

I assume that oil cooler is for the fluids running through the S/C unit itself?

I see your oil catch can there; good work!

Any thought to removing that intake box and getting a modified short ram intake on there?

My thoughts too! Although I remember a smaller one looking a little off on another build here

I would assume so. I dont know why you'd run it through the OCC.

I kind of like that intake box like that... then again I may be a little biased

It is different though.

I want to see the whole picture OP!

Great job! I want to see where you can source that kit in North America. Although I still do really enjoy my n/a engine.
