Default Gs sports design transmission

Is there any difference in the sports design transmission? A buddy of mine was saying that the gearing was different. Is there any truth to this?

Haha... That's what I told him. Same exact transmission. Just looked it up myself. Thanks Tom.

So is the Sports Design ECU plug and play type upgrade that us regular 2gs owners can do?

Can I just buy the SD PS ECU and plug it in or will I need to hardwire/re-pin a bunch of ****.

It should be plug and play... I believe the GS430 uses the same steering ECU, but you may want to double check that.
