Magnaflow Axle-back?
I'm still searching for the right exhaust for my IS350... I'm looking for just a tad louder than stock, really. Low and mellow, very understated, with as little noise in the cabin when cruising as possible. I'm not sure I can get this with any of the exhaust systems, but it appears that the Magnaflow might be the closest.
How is Magnaflow quality (craftsmanship, polish, materials OK, etc)?
Comments from others who have it?
Many are suggesting F-sport exhaust for my kind of application but I notice that in youtube videos, you seem to pick up a lot of noise in the cabin around 2k-3k under slow acceleration with F-sport. I really don't want to hear the thing when I'm on a quiet road driving a constant speed.

It's Magnaflow.... They've been around forever. If they weren't putting a good product out there, they wouldn't be in business. I'm sure there have been a few reviews already here, try reading those.

I agree to read the threads/reviews that are posted on the first page of this forum. With respect to noise at low rpm, yes there is still a deeper tone you can hear at cruising speed in the 2000rpm area. It's not absent of sound. If you wanted to achieve that you would need a valved exhaust that opens up at higher rpms only.
