Default What legal mods for a 14 IS 250

Hey all Im new here, just bought a 14 IS250 F Sport and would like to find out what kind of carb and warranty legal mods that can be done. I realize it is a bit underpowered to my liking so I was thinking if an intake and turbo might be ok. I really dont want to screw the warranty or add a droned exhaust tone .
Any thoughts from the forum

Adding a turbo to your is250 would negatively impact your goal of being carb and warranty legal.

You can go with some carb legal superchargers. I'm not sure if there are any that are manufactured, but from my previous car (EP3), there was a street legal supercharger.

A 250 underpowered? Did you not notice there was a 350? And you do realize it is still underpowered? Totally wrong platform my friend. Do a 2JZ swap.

OP, if you had purchased an Audi, VW, Porsche, BMW, Subaru, or Ford (Mustang), you'd have ample opportunites to make your car faster. All of those marques have mature aftermarkets.

You chose a relatively slow (but nice) naturally aspirated car, for which there's practically no aftermarket for speed. An intake will not make your car faster, nor will a cat back exhaust. I'd also be wary of any forced-induction options for your car (if any exist). You'd have a hard time selling or trading your car with an aftermarket turbo.

Forget about speed and enjoy your car. If you can't live with the 250's relative lack of power, your best bet is to get another ride.

Or you have a really nice car to have as a daily driver, and if you want some speed car, there are many out there that you could purchase and tinker and do all sorts of motor work too.
Just saying...
