Im replacing my fuel pump on a 07 lexus is250 with 150k in mileage, what specs should i be looking for to purchase just the fuel pump instead of the entire assembly?

"Specs"? Just get the fuel pump from Sewell Lexus. Sign-up using your Club Lexus log-in info, and receive discounts on everything too!

You are talking about the in-tank pump and not the "high-pressure" fuel pump connected to the motor...correct?

yes its in tank, the dealership sells the entire assembly and not the pump alone. I manage to find the assembly online for way less than the prices from local auto stores 850$, 1050$, 1200$.

There's about 10 complete intank mechanisms on eBay right now. You're in luck with the 250 as you can use the is350 setup as well. $150-400. Pretty easy fix dropping a complete unit in vs swapping out the pumps.

^If anyone would know...Mike here would! I also agree that you can go the used route and save some bucks too. But if you want new, with the CL discount on the Sewell site, you'd be looking at only $238.25 + shipping for the pump itself
