Is350 f sport magnaflow sound exhaust
#65
Pole Position
It has got louder over time but it's not loud as such. Just deep & throaty under acceleration. Cruising you can barely notice it & under load up a hill you get a little reverb but I wouldn't necessarily call it drone.
Once the PPE headers go on that maybe a different story though ........

I would say that after breaking in it does get louder but not overly. A bit of highway drone, especially going up hills without downshifting etc. Realistically if you want something quieter than this, there probably isn't a reason to get an aftermarket exhaust.

Just installed the magnaflow today and initial impressions are: it's not much louder, but definitely noticeable under acceleration and at a stop. I didn't expect loud, but did expect more than it is. The look from the rear is better because it stands out just a bit...the way the 350 should be to differentiate it from the 250.
I was hoping for some gurgling sounds backing off throttle quickly but haven't heard such great sounds yet.
Here's to finding the sweet spot just a bit louder than after initial installation.

I had the Magnaflow system on my 2011 is250. I ran it for about a year, got tired of the drone. Even at low speed with the windows up it was hard to hear the sound system. Good luck finding what you are looking for.

Midpipe would be the step up, but that seems like going from 3 louds to 9 or 10 louds. I'd like to be at 5 to 6 louds and was hoping that the Mag would be just that. And I'd like there to be a loud scale. Scientists should definitely invent that.
Thus far, the Mag has virtually no drone at highway speeds in 8th.
