Default Just have a few questions

So I've been thinking about getting a lexus IS350, it'd more than likely be an 08. Well my main question is if they have an aftermarket for them? & my other question is if they do is the 250 or 350 better to build? Please help, I'm asking cause if anyone knows it'd be a forum strictly for lexus.

If your looking to mod the IS for huge power gains....stay away. Not a lot of performance parts for it and it cost $ to add a few more hp. The is350 would be better to build out of the two you suggested due to it being the better performance engine of the two.

350 is better for performance, but the ECU on both the 250 and 350 can't be tuned to your liking. It basically tunes itself.

Otherwise, in terms of cosmetics, the 250 and 350 are the same from 06-08, and then from 09-13. The only differences cosmetically between models are the engine covers, the OEM wheel options, and the badging.

I greatly appreciate it! I'm not looking for any outrageous performance out of it just a little quicker than average. I'd just end up doing miner **** to it like exhaust, suspension, rims etc. but the 350 will be the one I end up going with because I read that the 250 has a carbon build up problem that is a temporary fix while the 350's problem is a one time fix.

This should help answer some questions. https://www.clublexus.com/forums/is-...iy-thread.html

Get a 350. Way quicker and the performance options that are easily attainable are
Intake, headers, mid pipe, exhaust.
