Theres another guy on here with a Silver/Blk '05. His name is BeatupVr4. The GS400 is faster with these mods than the GS430. I knew a guy that was on here (met him in person) with an '02 with TC/LSD, he let me drive his car at a Meet. The T/C in his car throws a CEL but it ran fine, but not quicker than the 400.

My 430 will remain stock.. Its been very trying not to mod it but I'm really enjoying Stock smoothness, plus 3.76 Supra Rear-end is hard to come-by these days. I have two of them so its Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde.. (One modded & One Stock)

Awww yes my twin!
From what I read you have to get a certain stall on the 430 to prevent the check engine light from coming on. I've been pondering the thought of adding the tc and lsd on mine. I almost bought the tc that was for sale on the classifieds a couple of days ago but someone beat me to it.

I like that Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde. You should put that on the plates

Bad news guys. Stopped by the shop today to drop off my fuel injectors that I just got back from servicing. They are bogged down with other projects and hope to be half way done by this weekend and goal is to be completely done by the following Saturday. A week longer than I thought. Is this typical with shops?

Yeah man, the worst thing you can do is rush the job. Keep it real cool with them and they'll take care of you.
You waited all them years to get this started, what's another week or two ?

Just got the final part in the mail for the install...the Boomslang harness! I will drop this last piece off to the shop tomorrow.

A little background info on Boomslang they are a company that specializes in custom plug & play harnesses. The quality of their products are 2nd to none but you're gonna pay for sure.

The harness for my car to connect to the FIC-8 set me back $364/shipped. About $100 more than it was for my harness a while back for my Neo. This thing is serious and much more involved; weighs almost 3 pounds! The main line containing all wires is over 6' long and almost 1" thick with a beautiful heavy duty heat resistant mesh sheath to protect wires...very happy with the product. I did not want the shop hacking my ECU wires. I'm trying to do everything legit.

Still a struggle. 👎😔. The shop is a good shop and they have everything installed but the SC and bracket itself. They can't figure out how to secure the bracket and I don't have any info to give them other than a few pics that I found online; it's still hard to tell how the bracket is orientated.

We are all trying to get through to Mo at SRT to see if he remembers from 10 yrs ago. This is such a PITA and I've come too far. I gotta figure this out.

Update. I was right how the bracket goes! The power steering pump and pulley had to temporarily come off to put the bracket on, then everything goes back on and power steering reservoir gets relocated closer to battery. The bracket is on and they are back to the install. I think they may be done by this weekend God-willing.
