Default Custom IS250 True Dual Magnaflow exhaust

so this guy at a shop wants to build me a true dual exhaust with two magnaflow resonators and two magnaflow mufflers. I'm not sure how he plans to make two magnaflow resonators fit.... is he blowing smoke or is this possible?

i know the gains will be there but what about the overall sound? any advice? he is charging around 500 for everything including installation.

I might be going down this route too but I really don't think two resonators can fit in the regular spot of the IS's factory resonator spot. I also have a shop that's willing to make me a custom magnaflow dual exhaust system and he said he can do it for 400 (gonna try to ask for a lower price, he did my friend's charger for 300) but I'm not sure if he's doing it with two resonators or just one.

in the event that two resonators cant fit, what are the other options? one resonator, and an X pipe?

Check out dannyboy26 exhaust system. That sounds like exactly what you want your shop to build.

What do you think about the "crush" or "compression" bends?

Can you please direct me to where all these "bad" things about glass packs are listed? I've ran magnaflow glass packs for many miles and have yet to have a problem with them. Dannyboy's custom exhaust has magnaflow glass packs as well and he loves the way it sounds.

Kwik way muffler in San Jose, he did my buddy's charger for 300 a while back. I'm gonna try to go for 300 as well, I have to use the money for something else that's also mandatory.

Of course they're not optimal, but it's what most muffler shops have on hand. I don't see too much of a performance issue, if it is a true dual exhaust. Now if it was single piped turbo setup, I'd definitely look at mandrel bends.

Bringing back a dead thread... do you think adding two magna flow glass packs where the secondary cats were will lower the raspy sound i get? I have secondary cat delete, res delete, true dual and it's pretty raspy. Debating on whether i should put two glass packs in or if I should just buy a dual in dual out muffler with the x pipe built in the muffler.
