Default Federal RSRs on IS250?

What size tires would I need for the front and the back? My friend told me federals run a little wide so I'd need 235/45/17 for the rear and 215/45/17 for the front. Is this true? I need to get tires asap so any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Federals dont run wider then their specific tire ratings. Just go with the oem size ratings on the oem rims and you should be fine.
