I've not read about anyone having to run anything but factory plugs. Though the factory iridium plugs are pre-gapped and not supposed to be adjusted, I could see a slight adjustment to tighten the clearance for those being boosted to help slightly.

Wouldn't hurt to try them out. Do any of you that are boosted check your plugs often to check for lean-burning or other issues? "Plug-reading" used to be a science.

I don't see why they couldn't make an exhaust for the awd...all they would need is a awd in there shop to build the exhaust and then ship to you. That's how mine was handled and fitment was dead on. I would contact PPE they announced a few weeks ago they have an exhaust system for the IS.

Wish i could help, i've gotten p0172 before (when i was stock + exhaust, which is the other side reading lean) after autocross event, but it went away after a restart or battery unplug. Did you just drive the car pretty hard or just normal driving?

1) invest in code reader
2) hit erase button

Happens to me all the time when the weather changes. At idle after driving hard. Once the ECU gets used to the cold weather, no issues. I also get misfires when spraying water meth in cold temps. So I don't.

I run the car pretty hard...I cleaned the MAF today took the car for 30 min drive. Cleaning helped I cleared the CL didn't come back on idled smoother. I think its time to buy a new MAF

so Stewb10, do you just stop spraying and go easier on the car during winter? Do you change the pulley to lower the boost for winter?
You must have checked the A/F ratio, does it change (probably increase, if you are misfiring) as it gets cold?
Thx

Yes. I take it easier during the winter. I run no belt sometimes, or just keep it out of boost. It is as much a drivability issue as anything. Handling 100 horse that starts to pour on right at 3psi can be trouble in the winter.
