Just got my PPE headers last night I’m impressed with the quality looks real nice clean welds and coating looks durable. I weighed the PPE headers each weighs 9.6 pounds ill compare to stock when they get removed. I’m probably going have the new pulley and headers installed next week. Pulley will be installed first then dyno with more boost and then PPE installed and dyno for final numbers. Here are some pics of headers

Nice pickup, youll definitely feel the difference (with both the headers alone and the pulley upgrade too!)

Update just ordered the Borla full exhaust system with x-pipe shoud be here towards end of the month. I was planning on get the headers installed right after i finished a dyno run with the smaller pulley on the Procharger but im thinking i might install headers last and install Borla exhaust first since i noticed on here that no ones has dyno sheets to show what kinda of power if any this exhaust can gain!!

Thanks.... it looks nice I like how the exhaust tips are oval and fit the holes in the bumper perfect and don’t stick out past the bumper like most exhaust for this car do. My opinion definitely a cleaner look! Plus this is a true dual exhaust system!!

^Yeah, very good point on the tips! If and when I ever upgrade my exhaust, I'd like for the tips to be oval to match the GFX rear lip cut-outs.

Post up vids of the new exhaust once installed!

Up date on pulley install... car was put on Dyno and hit 5.8 psi right when the AFR hit 14... I need some in put because i know others on her where running more PSI?? Does it take time for the ECU to adjust to the higher boost and not see a lean condition??

I purchased a snow performance meth kit today already but wont find out if it will work to fix the lean condition until next week the shop is swamped and cant get to recirculating my BOV and meth kit install until then....

Was the AFR measured by a wideband you have installed or from exhaust outlets by the dyno? If by the dyno, it's going to read more lean than you really are aince the prongs don't stick too deep into the exhaust. I'm no expert tho

The AFR was measured on the dyno, I don’t have a wideband installed in my car yet but I think I’m going order the NGK AFX wideband. The shop recommended from there experience and said it would last unlike the PLX or AEM the sensor is better quality. Yea i was surprised when I was told the car was running so lean on only 5.8psi

^I loved my Innovative LC-1 unit!

Yeah, the shop used a "stiffer" from the exhaust pipe, which doesn't net you accurate runs AT ALL! You need to have a bung welded into the header about 6-8inches downstream from the head to give you your best reading and results. Also, though probably not known on the 2IS motors, I'd also put the bung into the runner that runs the hottest.

How much time did you give the car to "re-learn" everything with the new headers and the new pulley? You really should have given it at least 100 miles.

Good tip on where to locate the Wideband..
Im sure the shop just let it sit and run for 10 minutes then just put it on dyno dont think they drove it. I was thinking theres no way the cars lean on 5.8 psi im thinking i should pick up the car and drive it and let tho computer learn the extra boost.

I've driven my car hard immediately after resetting the ecu and it bogs down pretty bad before spooling up. I don't think you did any damage, but your dyno charts are most likely off if the car wasn't driven after changing pulleys. Half the time my car sits with the battery unplugged these days so only time I drive it, it's a fresh ecu I need a battery tender lol
