Based on what I am seeing the 2014 F-Sport intake kit comes with the top of the air box, filter and intake tube. The lower air box is not changed. Can anyone confirm that the lower air box on the 2014 IS is the same as the lower air box on the Prior 2013 and before F-Sport intake kits?

For those wondering I tried the F sport filter in the stock intake and it fits exactly the same as the old one.
Sound did not changed much though but it could be because I have the f sport exhaust and might not be able to hear it.

The top half is different in terms of a new piece, honestly it is the same just has f sport logo and don't know if the filter is oiled or not, it does have a label to not oil it though and use a filter cleaning kit because it is re-usable and also has an aluminum pipe instead of the black plastic piece
- Draws cooler, denser air from behind and below the headlight area (rather than hot air from the engine compartment)
- The kit replaces the bottom half of the Lexus filter enclosure with a custom intake that generates a throatier sound and a small increase in rear-wheel horsepower
- The filter assembly feeds the engine throttle body through a polished, clear-coated aluminum tube engineered to resist heat transfer to the flow of cold air into your intake
- High-flow, low restriction air filter can be cleaned and reused for the life of the vehicle
- F Sport engineered assembly is compatible with stock engine controls
- Meets California Air Resources Board requirements
- Emissions-legal in all 50 states

I hope I am not confusing you. I do not mean the air filter either. If you turn the old original top half of the intake housing upside down you will see a filter permanently mounted near the top. Does the new top have this built in filter too? Some people remove it in the original housing. Is there one in the new housing?
