2001 lexus is300 with 156k on it. was it worth the money. and what should be the first things i should replace to make it last for the next four years? new to the forums so all advice would be greatly appreciated. thanks

A lot of people around that milage replace water pump and timing belt. Trans fluid is always a good thing too

First off welcome to the forums and congrats on purchasing the IS. As for replacing parts i would do a full tune up. Spark plugs, wires and then change out the timing belt, water pump and thermostat. Those 3 components are right next to each other and when you take off one it will be easy to get to the others. Where are you located If you need help doing those things i could help you.
