Default my new lexus is being bought today!!!

2001 lexus is300 with 156k on it. was it worth the money. and what should be the first things i should replace to make it last for the next four years? new to the forums so all advice would be greatly appreciated. thanks

A lot of people around that milage replace water pump and timing belt. Trans fluid is always a good thing too

First off welcome to the forums and congrats on purchasing the IS. As for replacing parts i would do a full tune up. Spark plugs, wires and then change out the timing belt, water pump and thermostat. Those 3 components are right next to each other and when you take off one it will be easy to get to the others. Where are you located If you need help doing those things i could help you. There is a group of us that get together and chill and work on our IS. Also be sure to check out the NELOC section on the forum,.

How would we know if it was worth the money if we dont know how much you paid?

How much did you pay for it bro? With that amount of miles anything over 7 grand is too much!

congrats on new car always love getting a new vehicle added to the fleet of rides, definitely always take care of all maintenance first then go with small bolts on aftermarkets. Have fun!!
