Default Power steering failure

Hello everyone,

My is250 06 model's power steering has failed.
My mechanic diagnosed it and said that the part C1554 needs to be replaced. But we cannot find the actual part
Any recommendations or anyone else had the same problem? Please feel free to give me
Some feedback !!
Cheers

I don't know much about the cause of the problem but I have heard that it is one of the more common issues on the IS250/350.

If it turns out you need a replacement rack or steering ECU, I have a perfectly good set that I took out of my car for my engine swap that is sitting in my garage waiting to go on eBay. Here is what I currently have them listed for on the forum but all prices are negotiable:

Power Steering ECU: $150 (Including Shipping)
Power Steering Rack: $450 (+40 Shipping)
Power Steering Rack, ECU, and Harness Combo: $550 (+40 Shipping)

^Remove the battery from its tray, and you should see something like this :

The silver box is the steering ecu. If you are for sure replacing the steering ecu, take a look at this as there is in fact an upgrade to the standard '06 model yr steering ecu.
