That's a Supra clutch LSD, not an IS300 LSD.

^Oops, didn't read the entire listing there. LOL!

Will that thing work in an IS250 though? If not the housing, will the LSD in the 250 diff?

The LSD will fit in an IS250 housing. The Supra housing won't fit the IS250.

Ok so my question is are you using the FRS/BRZ pumpkin or just the LSD? Would that matter at all. Also the ones who have add the LSD do you have any other suspension mods?

You can use the entire assembly or just the LSD, either way would work fine.

Swapping the entire thing gives you 4.10:1 gearing.

Thanks Jeff,

I appreciate the super quick reply. I will let you guys know how the upgrade goes. I am going to try out the 4.10 gear ratio for a while but I will keep my old diff if I want to go back to 3.9

Cheers,
Eric

If you have an MT, your original diff would have been 3.73, only the AT uses 3.91.

Finished swapping in a 2013 BRZ rear differential into my 2007 IS250 this weekend - axles slide in just fine.
I pulled the diff cover, inspected & cleaned everything, then filled it with Motul Gear 300 75w90 once in place.

Pulling the axles is easy with an SST type tool as shown in the repair manual - it is OTC tool # 6541 / 519375 - can be used with regular slide hammer.

Thank you to Mike @FIGS, as well as Jeff Lange for all their help!

Haven't had a chance to drive it too much yet, but so far my impressions are that it is a little more planted in the corners.

Ahhh. The post on page one confused me. Got the complete unit last week. Can't wait to install it! Came with 9000km (~5400 miles).

Yeah, I changed mine from 3.73 to 3.91, so that's why I have 3.91, haha.
