y not go for an fsport, similar oem/clean look but at least there's actual difference in sound

i had the tanabe before and honestly it's like....whistling...barely anything
i've heard the original se elite (burnt tip one) under WOT behind the car and didn't hear much at all...
if exhausts were compared to farts, the tanabe mt or greddy se/sp would be considered those silent ones where you can hear gas pass but there's no "blurppp" sound

unless you add a midpipe then it's ok

i think these 2 exhausts (and Fujitsubo) are only for looks............

p.s. the Tanabe does drone after engine warms up, and in comparison to the ratio of amount of drone vs. how much exhaust note there is from outside the car, there's quite a lot of drone

About two days.

I just installed my Tanabe exhaust and I am enjoying the sound and looks. Yes not much of a sound difference from the stock exhaust, but that is what I was going for. As for the drone, I shut the radio off and closed all the windows and the drone is very minimal.

Yeah the smoke was definitely gone in a couple days. Best part about the exhaust, its not annoying. My friends complimented me about that while we were cruising in my IS. Power on command

Yea I didn't want an annoying exhaust or an attention grabber. Had a few cops riding next to me today and they didn't even look over. LOL

LOL. That's why I love the Tanabe. Not much heat. Although I was freaking out when a cop car followed behind me for half a mile on a busy street. That was my second day after installation. They did nothing

Just finished installing Tanabe and F-Sport sway bar tonight. I can't upload the video, cus I don't have you tube acct yet. I like the deep tone at start up and idle also at certain RPM. It's a compliment with F-Sport intake. Just want to share.

Enjoy.!

I felt less body roll and reduce under steer when I did the corner at 40 to 50mph to test our the sway bars. I have doubt about the F-sport sway bars performance before, but now, I am sold. If you need any direction on how to install it, shot me a mg, I am glad to assist. My next mod is either spring or coilover.

Good luck.

Good to know! Did you install both the rear & front?
Coils, don't mess with springs
