Anyone bought and tried the magnaflow axle back exhaust? I know some done their own with manga flow mufflers. Ut just curious if anyone has bought the full axle back. Price seems decent at $906. Just curious on the sound.

Hey All,

I am new to the forum, but it seems like a lot of people are looking for some sound clips from inside the cabin with the F sport exhaust, and intake. I received my exhaust today (along with a second set they charged me for and wont let me return, but that's for another time) Once I hang the exhaust ill post some sound clips for you all. One of the members had some great exterior videos which sold me. Thanks in advanced for the great information i have found on here so far.

Default suggestions?

yoha brohas. Just got the car. Want to get an exhaust but having trouble finding the right one.

Does anyone know of an axle back with these criteria? or somewhat close.

So the full catback i read is illegal? dont feel like swapping exhausts every time i need to get a smog so axle back bolt ons seems to narrow it down a bit.

Next, in no particular order, Visuals.

-Is there an exhaust where the shiny muffler is flush under the car not visible but just the chrome tips are?

-Tip diameter: i couldnt find any info on what the diameter of the stock tips are. I want them a little bigger but not rocket ship big maybe about 1 inch bigger than current stock one

-Sound. The deeper and throaty the better imo. but its going to be my daily driver and my wife will driving it too so nothing too loud but deeep and throaty is GOOD also of course no droning. who likes droning?!

I don't think full catback is illegal. You might get pulled over for it but as long as your cat is intact, I don't see them giving you a ticket except for noise maybe.

The Ark seems flush.

Ark/JoeZ are the the deeper sounding ones.

it is only illegal to remove a cat, with a cat back you still keep one of the cat converters so you are still legal every time you get a smog... those techs don't keep track if your car had one or two cats...

I'm in md. Every time I smog, I get waived out since my cars are always low. My last vw, I ran a cat less downpipe and passed. With the MD checks, as long as you don't have a CEL you pass.

Just opened the box today and I don't see the gaskets. Does the F sport exhaust come with gasket or do I use the old gasket from the stock exhaust?

Mine didn't have gaskets either ....I didn't even notice gaskets off the stock one....I don't think the stock exhaust had gaskets on either ....I'm gonna check my stock exhaust when I get home later today that's a good question
