timing a VVTI
Not sure if this is the right place for this, but i have asked around and from what i was told to match the VVTI intake gear up, you have to max it out all the way to the right then line up the white lines.. is that correct?
heres my dilemma.

dont remember exactly which direction you turn, but you max it out (only turns a little like 1/8 to to 1/16 of a turn) then turn it back until the timing markings line up. you should be able to feel the timing sprocket give more resistance, thats when you are maxed out on the adjustment, then turn back the other direction. the 2 points at which you feel resistance is what you essentially are feeling/looking for.
