M2 exhaust installed on a 99 gs300
So I ordered the e-bay M2 cat back off eBay after hearing some positive reviews. I got it this Friday and tried installing it yesterday. The fit of this exhaust has much to be desired. The piping on the mufflers, just as it comes off the back on the Y pipe, touches my rear suspension. It appears that I need the exhaust to hang lower but it can't unless I reeled the hangers on the y pipe, at the top of the pipe rather then having them mid pipe. The Ypipe could alo use a couple more inches in length. But I guess this is to be expected from an e-bay exhaust. I'm just surprised that I have not seen more examples of the poor fit. I'll post up some pics when I get a chance. Just curious if anyone else has had these issues.

So after some bending of the piping, I got it to fit. This thing sounds great revving in the driveway, but as long as you're on the gas there is definitely droning on the highway. It's definitely louder than I anticipated, the vids on YouTube make it sound a lot quieter. The note however is nice and deep.
