Default Brian Crower 264 Stage 2 Cam?

I read into their description on this particular cam and supposedly you can drop them in with no changes to the valvetrain nor tune. I checked out a few idle videos and I found one with audio at -4deg and it sounded amazing. Although, another video did not display the same results. Are these cams worth the money? ? ?

They said the cams support a turbo setup, which led me to believe that the overlap provided would be okay for NA as well. What attracted me is the fact they work with the factory valvetrain. I've seen a few guys running these cams at -4deg exhaust on NA with a great sound, performance unknown. I am looking to run all engine and stay true to the IS300 design, which I know isn't much, but worse come to worse I could always turbo it down the road and already have the engine breathing better than factory. Although, I have been contimplating running a 75shot or more on the car. I feel like a 75 shot would be well below the threshold for a safe amount of spray without sacrificing its everyday reliability, but if I could run more with the same amount of safety then I wouldn't mind. Any recommendations there?

yes if your head/motor is in good shape you can just drop them in... no valve springs retainers etc needed... probably a good idea to replace the belt and water pump while you are in there tho...

I got mine in a year ago and they are an excellent mod for NA or Boost unless you are building a monster ... then you may want ot go to teh 272's.... with the SC they are ****in awesome....

but for daily driven all around performance upgrades they rock..

funny.. you mention the sound noticeable on a you tube video...... while you can hear mine .(slight lope). maybe its due to the SC... .but my engine doesn't sound remarkably different with them in........ then again my engine hasn't been stock since 2005 so i may not remember exacly what a lightly modded IS motor sounds like to compare properly.

Just Do It.
