Ok sorry if this is a stupid question (and im sure it is) but can someone please tell me where im supposed to look to see if the car has water in it? I thought i found it under the engine cover but i opened it to see that it had pink stuff in it - im assuming thats normal?

Anyway sorry if its a dumb question. Im just used to my last car (bmw) where the reservoir was right in front of you and all i did was add water every now and then lol. Thanks

What water are you talking about? The pink stuff is coolant.

The pink fluid is Toyota brand long life engine coolant; ONLY use this coolant in the Lexus. Tap water in the cooling system of any car will corrode over time; the Toyota coolant has conditioners in it keep everything tip top.
