As long as you dont eliminate the cats in front of the o2 sensor then your CEL wont come on your fine. ( fyi im not sure if the car will pass inspection but hoepfully u have a hookup)
Got quoted $2600.00 for mid pipe replacement on 2006 IS250 AWD @ Lexus dealer (That's for 1 (one) car needs both replaced. Davico Mfg. in New bedford MA. now makes this pipe and gives a great guarantee.

Davico Mfg. New Bedford Ma. makes this pipe, guarantees it and is a direct replacement that your wife can install while you watch the game.

I checked the Davico website. For whole 2006 IS250 midpipe (both sides) the price is about $1200. You say it's less than 10% of your $2600 quote? I hope I'm missing something, that would be a great price. Let me know! Thanks

Sorry, prices direct from Davico are higher than those from dealer/distributors.
I am away from home and cannot accesss printouts of listings on Ebay which reflect my statement.
I believe the seller was in either MI or WI.

Have two quotes for midpipe replacement on 2006 IS250 AWD, 1.) $2600.00, 2.) $2076.00. Quotes are from Lexus Dealers and are for one side ONLY.
I always insisted on replacing parts with OEM or exact aftermarket. Since this model continues to experience Airbag/SRS failures, it doesn't seem practical to continue to treat my car as anything above a potential death trap. (There have been several recent posts on the internet by owners involved in accidents where the airbags/seatbelts did not deploy).

There was a listing on Ebay for 2006 IS250 AWD midpipes @ $270.00 incl. S&H. Not exactly 10% of the $2600.0 quote but I hope this explains how the original statement was made.

I am currently awaiting a reply on my complaint about Airbags/SRS systems filed with NHSTA. Anyone with similsr problems (airbag light ON) is, hopefully, also filing a complaint.

Another alternative is create a want to buy midpipe for IS awd in the classified section. Members here sell stock part very cheap. For example, the exhaust are sold around $100 all the times.

it doesn't bolt on

it's not for a "stupid" reason, it's called low demand and small target market
