Default Need a new midpipe

Hey,

So my stock midpipe is all rusted out and its not fixable. Now i want to replace it, i currently have a m2 axle back. I want to get the quietest midpipe (besides oem) which will it be? Is invidia the quietest in? So far i see it is the cheapest.

No, invidia is loud. I only know of one other midpipe and thats Megan.

If you want quiet in general, do not get an aftermarket midpipe

What Bob said. Aftermarket mid pipes delete your two secondary catalytic converters. They will be louder than what you want. Check classified to see if anyone is selling their OEM pipes, after installing aftermarket. If I remember correctly, the OEM pipes are quite expensive, even through Sewell.

But thats not really saying alot. Yeah Megan is quieter, but not by much. Either midpipe will make your car LOUD

First off, dont buy from ebay. Im pretty sure you can get them both from a vendor here on the forums

Btw you only get 2hp (if any) from midpipes so its only for sound.

Ive never heard a megan midpipe in person so I cant comment on that. But as soon as I read that invidia is louder, I went for it and never looked back. I have that paired with a HKS Hi-Power exhaust and its LOUD.

Ive also heard a Greddy SP2 + Invidia and its very loud too. Its quieter than the HKS, but the difference is minimal.

like i said i have the m2 exhaust, i dont think its nearly as loud as HKS or Greddy. The vendors here i will check what they offer but im sure its not under 330 for invidia shipped and 470 for megam

I got my Invidia from JB Autosport for $303 with free shipping. That was almost a year ago, but was way cheaper than anywhere else at the time.

The M2 is quieter, but midpipes really amp up the sound of your setup. Im not sure if Im allowed to publically post vendor prices, but I paid a little less than what you posted shipped for my invidia from a vendor
