Default Octane Booster?

Hey guys i was wondering if any one out there use Octane Booster with their IS350 fueling Premium gas(93) already .?

Another Question is does anyone know Whats the Ron(Research Octane Number) for a 2006 IS350?

There's never a point in using off the shelf octane booster period. When that can says it raises octane "8 points" it means it would raise 93 to 93.8


Anyway, the ISx50 is programmed for 91, using anything higher than 91 is entirely useless. (It won't hurt anything of course, in case you live someplace that sells 93 rather than 91, but it won't 'help')

95 RON fuel would be the closest equivalent to US 91 octane.

Agreed, octane booster is a joke.

We only have 87, 89, or 93 octane fuels here in SC...so my 350 gets the 93oct.

Same here in NY 87, 89, and 93
i also only fuel with 93

I only drive 20 miles a day so my GX470 gets premium 91 to 94 depending on the station used. Which today is nowhere near as bad as my old V10 Excursion with 11.9 mpg City and Highway. Gas was $3.50 a gallon then. 44 gallon tank was well over $130 to fill up.

So I will put premium in the GX now that gas is around 2 bucks again.
