ORIGINAL POST
Anybody have either of the 2 Greddy exhausts? (SP Elite & Evo3)
I looked at a few others and came down to some conclusion....
So from this list it comes down to either the Greddy's or the Tanabe
I've read a lot of stuff on Tanabe MT already and seems like most people have it.
But what about the Greddy users?

The SP Elite to me sounds like the Tanabe but a tad bit deeper and louder, and apparently it's the same as the SE without the burnt tips?
Can't seem to find any info on the Evo3, did read something about it's just "brought back"
To me it sounds in videos similar to HKS but not as loud/aggressive?
Please chime in and give some opinion! I can barely find any information on it even from google

Thanks!

Does Greddy even make the Evo3 for our cars? I thought the only ones available were the SE and SP?

I'm interested in seeing what the evo3 sounds like with a mid pipe. There's a sound clip on greddy's website

i'm leaning more towards the evo as it's tad more aggressive than the sp, but not as aggressive as hks...

unfortunately i won't be able to get a midpipe since i'm on awd

I think the Evo 3 is one of the better sounding exhausts for our cars, but I'm basing this solely on the one video. It's not as loud as the HKS Hi Power and since a lot of people have been complaining about the Hi Power's drone it seems like the Evo 3 would be a good alternative. Based on all the vids I've watched on exhausts I'd say the F-Sport is my favorite and then the Evo 3, the Tanabe seems too quite for my tastes. Wish I could have heard them all in real life though. Sorry if this isn't much help but good luck choosing!

Yeah that sucks, but at least the evo has similar canisters to the HKS and is less aggressive. I've heard the sp in person several times and in my opinion, it sounds even quieter than the tanabe
You can never go wrong with greddy though

I prefer the oval type canister like on the Spectrum Elite.

Being that I had a Greddy EVO II exhaust on my Lancer back in the day, I can say that if the EVO III sounds anything like it...i'll be all over it! Just gonna find a spare $750 to spend on them.

OMG I LOVE THE EVO3. its so perfect.... starting it up.. hearing the little drone at idle. then when you start to accelerate it rumbles. This is THE EXHAUST OUT THERE RIGHT NOW, Greddy evo3 set the new benchmark for all other exhausts. i was considering deleting resonator and welding in a pipe. or getting a midpipe. but the exhaust is too perfect it would ruin the sound! i will try and get vids up ASAP. if you are in socal and want to hear it come to one of the meets or hmu in pm we can meetup. But im telling you that YOU WILL NOT BE DISSATISFIED! video may not do it justice.

*sidenote* pairing it with the typhoon is a perfect combo. i get just as much noise from the front as i do from the rear now. its cool cuz the exhaust has good drone and sound as it accelerates through the gears and cruising speed at like 1500 rpm-2000pm. and then when you really push it at first you hear exhaust and then the typhoon chimes in at like 3000+ and they are both roaring to hell.

Thanks for reading!
