Default Aristo swap issues (temp gauge and vvti gear noise)

Hey guys,

I bought my 99 gs300 and after a couple of months I swapped in a 2jzgte vvti and used the whole aristo wiring loom, everything is working correctly except the temp gauge (it worked before the swap)

I just need to know if anyone here has an instrument cluster diagram so I can see where the temp gauge takes reference from, I thought the sensor at the bottom of the radiator had to do with that but it doesnt. The electric fans turn on and off normally with operating temp.

Also, im having a check engine light (code 59) only when the engine reaches operating temp, I tested the oil control valve, cleaned the filter and everything is clean and the valve clicks. I did some test, applying 12volts to the valve with the engine running and nothing happens, so I think the vvti gear has something to do with this.

When I cold start the engine, Im hearing a 1 second knock coming from the vvti gear area, it happens only for 1 second and with a cold engine start.

I appretiate any help you could provide

Anyone with an electrical wiring diagram for the gs300? I just need that to find it myself. Thanks
