Default Megan or Invidia midpipe for Lexus Hks exhaust

I jut picked up the less common hks f sport exhaust and it's a little too quiet for my likings. Unless I really hit the throttle, it remains virtually silent an has zero highway drone. I'm not looking for any hp gains, but rather a louder sound that won't increase the amount of drone much at highway speeds. Seems like a midpipe will do the job, but I'm not sure which one will better suit my needs. Any suggestions?

Go the easy route and delete your resonator. I did it for my M2 exhaust and it made it significantly louder and more aggressive.

Any extra drone with the delete?

I'm trying to see the pros and cons of one over the other. Could you shed some light on this?

The Megan isn't as loud and aggressive as the invidia. I got the invidia because I like loud and aggressive

Virtually no drone at highway speeds, but when you step on it in the city, it's beast!

Perfect thats really what I'm looking for. Same question though, how's the drone at highway speeds? And also either midpipe option will be louder than a resonator delete. Correct?

Ive had both a resonator delete and the invidia midpipe so I def suggest for you to get the invidia. Both setups will be louder, but there was a ton of rasp with a resonator delete.

Nice thread, I have also been comparing these pipes recently and look forward to feedback from others. I am interested in sounds levels as well as HP gains (even though i know they are minimal).

EDIT: I have an f-sport intake and HKS exhaust, so my setup is little different than OP, but still looking for comparisons on the pipes.

Well the following are my experiences

1) F-Sport exhaust/F-Sport intake/Resonator Delete: Loud and raspy, especially from a cold start. Sounds raspy across the entire RPM range, but more noticable after 4K RPM.

2) F-Sport exhaust/F-Sport intake/Invidia Midpipe: Louder than option #1 with less rasp but still noticable. The rasp is mainly on the higher end of the RPM range. Basically after 4K RPM you hear it.

3) HKS-Hi Power exhaust/Takeda intake/Invidia Midpipe: The loudest setup of the 3 but with ZERO rasp. All you hear is a loud and deep exhaust note across the whole RPM range. This is the nicest sounding setup IMO

^ Would sound like Option 2, but with less intake noise if you didn't cut a whole in your stock air box.
