i don't know. i drove to a random smog testing facility, went through the testing, and passed.

there was one test that i was very close to not passing, but i passed it by the narrowest of margins.

did the smog testing facility tell you what part of the smog test you didn't pass.

so technically, you didn't "pass". or were you borderline pass/fail?

Well he looked under my car and saw the secondary cats missing and said that he would not be able to pass me legitimately. After running the test he submitted the results electronically and put a smog check certified sticker on my windshield.

it's always amazing to me how folks are ok risking fines that are usually like $10,000-$25,000 plus being put out of a job/business losing its license, for a bribe of enough to buy one pretty decent meal.

INJEN SP2 Intake

The guy didn't even run the test on my car. He took one look at the intake and said without the CARB number, I won't run it. How did you pass with the AFE stage 2 intake if that does not come with a CARB sticker and is not CA approved? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated since I can't find my factory intake.

thanks

Considering California is the strictest state on emissions, these results are surprising, I live in Washington, no exhaust mods have been done yet

Im surprised all the people from CA with the invidia midpipe passed smog since it deletes the 2nd cats... although there is either a cat or resonator at the end of the invidia midpipe, not sure which one it is tough.
