Default Is250 exhaust

I own a 2008 IS250 AWD. I am thinking about upgrading to the F-SPORT exhaust. I've been watching a lot of "F-SPORT EXHAUST" videos on youtube and they don't really seem to help because the audio recorded into a camera is different than real life. I was wondering, is there a big different when you upgrade it to the F-SPORT Exhaust? Does it have a more aggressive sound to it? I want to know for sure before i go buy this expensive part. Hope you guys can help, THANKS!

The F-Sport exhaust does add a more aggressive sound, definitely. Get an F-Sport intake to go with it too

It's definitely a difference from stock....this might help show the difference..

Probably. Plus they'll charge you hundreds more than sewell does for the part.

Better to get it from sewell and then do it yourself. Back up onto a pair of ramps and it's 15-30 minutes, very very easy.

Alternatively buy from sewell and then take it to literally any shop in town with a lift and they should do it for 1/2 hour labor, which will still be way less than a dealer will want.

Like Kurtz said, order from Sewell & have your local mechanic (or a good muffler shop) do the labor.
You should save at least a couple hundred bucks easily.

F-Sport exhaust definitely sounds nice. I actually took mine off cause the drone around 2000rpm/80mph was too much on the highway for me.

He means when you go around 2.5K RPM or 80 MPH... you get ZZzZZZZZzzzzZzZZ very very noticeable zzZZzZzzzZZ. You can crank your radio up to 35+ but in the background you can still hear it. =(

Thats what I feel like my F-sport sounds like.. sadness.. but when you WOT on a freeway onramp...sounds freakin awesome..

I don't believe there is any aftermarket or performance exhaust that doesn't have drone . That just comes with the territory . Gotta take the good with the bad. Just like having a hot chic for a girlfriend ... She can't look sexy all the time and once the relationship breaks in she is gonna fart around you from time to time lol... Like I said good with the bad bro

My Tanabe doesn't drone... you can have an easy to hear convo with the radio off at highway cruising speeds.

Though honestly I'm not sure anybody driving a 2IS with a street-legal lexus exhaust is experiencing what I'd call real drone (try a 383 cubic inch V8 with performance cam with tri-y headers and no cats)

I agree. After owning one of the loudest setups, friends with other "loud ones" and riding in cars with custom setups that are even louder, I have always thought people on here are too sensitive None of them have any kind of serious drone, for the most part its not drone or a frequency that drives you crazy, its just exhaust note because youre driving a car... with aftermarket exhaust . My old car had some serious drone, just custom magnaflow setup on a 4runner, and around 2.5k RPM's, it hurt your head. I've never experienced that with these cars.

Here's a quick rev of my setup: JoeZ racing & PPE headers

I've had tanabe exhaust and it was great. After a while I wanted something louder and I switched to an F-Sport. I love the F-Sport. Haven't looked back and haven't regretted the decision.

Pick up the F-Sport and you won't be disappointed.
