I thinking off buying a set of mide pipes from Top Speed for my custom exhaust project. Can anyone tell me if these are any good??

Yeah I have a set of these laying in the garage. They did fit the car well and they did change the tone nicely compared to the stock y, as I also ran these alone on stock mufflers later after I sold the HKS mufflers off the car that you'll see in the thread I'm linking...
If you are running custom mufflers or are buying some axle back mufflers, then I would say these are worth the $200 to eliminate the stock y with huge resonators. Not to mention the weight savings is huge between these and the stock y..
Here is a pic and thread I made a couple years ago about these, back before I swapped motors...

Lol. That was the set I developed for them. I used to develop for the guys at Top Speed, still do from time to time but not as much. I was always wondering why nobody made a aftermarket high flow midpipe unless you bought it included with a catback. However the catback mid pipe would only fit for the specific set of mufflers it came with. I knew there were a lot of aftermarket axle back exhausts, so I took it into my own hands to make an upgraded mid section that followed the oem bends
