Op could you please document the manual swap and show us pictures? My auto tranny is about to go **** up! Im trying to find as much info as I can so I could just do a manual swap instead of buying another auto trans.

If you have a GS300 and you are looking to do the manual swap, it is pretty straight forward. Its a direct bolt on to the 2JZ block. You will have to use the subframe mount from the auto tranny. Of course you just have to cut a bigger hole on the tranny tunnel to fit the shifter. The hardest part is drilling the firewall for the slave cylinder. Its pretty much the same thing as doing it on the SC300. The only difference is that on the GS you dont have a premade template on the firewall to show you where to drill the holes. Good luck!

Gotcha! I have 3 more questions. Do we need a shifter extension? and how about the clutch master cylinder? What which one do we need? Also I herd the IS manual pedal works best? Thanks!

You can use the clutch cylinder and pedals from an IS300 and yes you'll need a shifter extension. Check out http://store.driftmotion.com/static/c-lexusscgs.php for more help.
