You can get the same result for about $1.50 in parts from radio shack a resistor and a couple of wires is all it is, and all it does it lie to your ECU about the temp of the air coming into the engine.
There ARE real piggyback systems that work with the 2IS, but none of them are plug in chips.... the two installs I'm aware of are one HKS system and one MAPECU3 system, both of which ran well north of $1000 to get installed/working...and gains on an NA car are pretty marginal for the cost (~10 hp)

Supercharging a 250 will cost about twice as much, and add about half as much power, as simply getting a 350 instead would cost.
Supercharging a 350 will cost a similar amount, but only add 1/2-3/4 as much power, as simply getting an IS-F instead would cost... plus you get the better transmission with the F.
(and in both cases you'd be either making your own kit somehow, reusing one of the 3 or 4 LMS kits ever made, or modifying a JDM kit to work on a US model)
But if you insist on doing it anyway then as I said there ARE real piggyback systems that work with the 2IS, but none of them are plug in chips.... the two installs I'm aware of are one HKS system and one MAPECU3 system, both of which ran well north of $1000 to get installed/working (just for the piggyback, that's not including the costs of the forced induction system(

Generally better/cheaper to just buy a faster car.
