Most people either have the entire F-Sport kit or the F-Sport lower air box with the Joe-Z pipe. The latter option is cheaper if I'm not mistaken.

well you have the f sport^^ It doesn't make alot of noise while normal driving?? Also from one of the threads I read, the f sport intake doesn't come with the mounting hardware?? additional 39.95? on sewell or something like that...some please correct me if I'm wrong.

ms2619. I did not buy mine from Sewell but the Dealer didn't charge me for "mounting hardware". They matched Sewell's price and put it in for me. This thread is the first I have ever seen or heard about the hardware. As for the sound - you don't hear it at all during normal driving. When you hit the accelerator and get to 4-5k RPM there is a very cool, deep "growl". The F-Sport in-take is a great mod.

You won't really hear the intake at all until you hit 3,000 RPM, then it get louder (and nicer) as you reach 4,000-5,000 RPM like yoegster said. The F-Sport intake comes with mounting hardware when you order it from Sewell. It consists of a few clamps and the couplers.

If you go to Sewell's F-Sport Intake page it tells you what is included with your order.

Aluminum intake tube
F-Sport re-usable air filter
Lower air intake box
Hardware kit

My 09 IS350 had the F-sport intake installed by the Dealer. I confirm on the above statements. The sound of it over certain rpm is just PHENOMENAL . I wonder how no one has made a vid with the IS revving from inside and outside the car. A friend said its pretty noticeable from outside also . 101% vote for that mod

OK, here is the best I could do real quick.
I was not using paddle shifters.
I was not trying to go to red-line.
I was just trying to show/let you hear it at 4-5k RPM where you might hear the intake.

(Intake only, exhaust install tomorrow)!

I feel the same exact way. Sounds great with the F-Sport exhaust as well.

Is Carson still the only place you can buy the Joe Z Intake from?
